As you may have already seen on the news, the government has given the go ahead for caravan sites in England to open on Saturday the 4th of July! This is super exciting news for us as the last few months have been hard, but we are super pleased to be welcoming everyone back to Crowtrees Caravan site on the 4th of July. We are still waiting for guidance on how things will need to be changed but please see below what we know:
Social distancing will need to be adhered to at 1M
The toilet and shower block will be open, but we will have a new strict cleaning regime, which means we may need to close the toilet and showers to do deep clean often.
STRICTLY PAYMENT ON ARRIVAL OR NO ENTRY. This can be done by either contactless payment or cash.
We have hand sanitiser at every touch point around the caravan site including at the entry gate, at the toilet and shower blocks, at the shared taps, at the chemical emptying point and at the bins.
Pre booking only
We are also super excited that the glamping caravans and camping barns are also opening on the 4th of July. These will have a deep clean as usual after every guest ensuring all touch points are disinfected.
Both pubs in the village are also opening on the 4th of July, so if you are thinking of eating out whilst you stay with us, make sure you book a table! The chip shop and village shop also remain open.
We are busy planning away preparing the facilities, making signs, cleaning, taking hundreds of bookings every day, mowing grass, planting more beautiful trees and flowers, and generally making sure that everything is perfect to welcome out guests. Please bare with us through this busy time and we only know as much as you! Unfortunately, we do not have any ‘inside’ information or any more idea to how things will change but we are doing everything we can to keep everyone safe but also to make sure everyone is having fun.
